ME
Passionate About Sharing the Power of Pranayama, Meditation & Mindfulness.
Hello, I’m Jagruthi, a dedicated Pranayama and Meditation Guide/Teacher, born & raised in India, living in San Jose, California with my husband and our 3-year-old daughter. My journey into the world of yoga began eight years ago, in 2016, at the Isha Foundation. At that time, I was grappling with overthinking, anxiety, and challenges in my career and personal relationships. Life’s ups and downs left me seeking answers and healing for my mind.

This quest for clarity led me to discover Surya Kriya, a transformative technique introduced by Sadhguru at Isha. The profound positive impact on my mind and the meditative state I experienced helped me find answers and calm my restless thoughts.

In 2019, I expanded my practice by learning Sudarshan Kriya through the Art of Living and engaged in Ashtanga yoga asanas with a dedicated teacher. These practices reinforced my belief in yoga as a lifestyle that fosters joy and fulfillment.

The onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 marked a significant phase in my journey, as I welcomed my daughter without any maternal help. This period was challenging, with postpartum anxiety and depression adding to the pressures of being a new mother. My husband did his best to support us, but it was my consistent practice of breathing techniques, mindfulness, and yoga that kept me grounded.

Throughout this journey, whether through asanas, pranayama, or mindfulness, yoga has been a source of healing for my mental, physical, and emotional well-being. This holistic approach has transformed every aspect of my life.
Driven by a desire to deepen my understanding of Pranayama breathing techniques and meditation, I found my Guru, Sri Soham. Under his guidance, I received formal training as a Meditation and Pranayama Teacher, further enriching my practice and teaching skills.

I am passionate about sharing these benefits with others. I invite you to join me on this path of self-discovery and healing through the powerful practices of Pranayama, Meditation, and Mindfulness. Together, we can achieve better mental, emotional, and physical health, and create a more balanced and fulfilling life.
